How to determine what ring size you are
7 must-read tips
Can you think of something that would be worse than not being able to wear your new gorgeous ring, because it doesn’t fit properly? I can think of one thing: losing it because it’s too big! You probably get our point: your ring should fit your finger perfectly. Because our rings are custom made with the face profiles of your loved ones, they can’t be resized. That is why we can’t stress enough how important it is to measure your ring size correctly.
How to measure your ring size
The best way to be sure of your ring size is to go to your local jeweler and have him or her measure your size.
If that’s somehow not possible, you can also measure your ring size at home. If you do, there are a few things you should keep in mind:
- Always determine what ring size you have when your hands are at room temperature. The cold will make your fingers shrink and heat will result in swollen fingers.
- Always measure your ring size at the end of the day, this is when your fingers are at their biggest.
- When measuring your ring size at home, always measure 3 to 4 times to eliminate erroneous reading.
- Keep the climate in mind. Your fingers will be bigger during summer. If you are measuring during the winter months, try rubbing your hands together to warm them up first.
